The exhibition was rather similar to the one I went to at Lawang Sewu the month before, and I guess it was also the same exhibition at Erasmus Huis early this year. Still, it was nice to see all those old black-and-white photographs of trains, railways, and stations. There was also an infographic on the history of Indonesian trains.
note: All of the photos on the exhibition have been uploaded to the instagram of angkot traveller, so they had all been cropped and filtered.
Another exhibition we went to at KTCF 2014 was the one at Kerta Niaga building, where Rotterdam-based architecture and urban design practice MVRDV transformed the building into a tropical jungle. The interior was filled with tropical plants, with some of the floors covered with leaves. On the second floor there was a DJ playing dance music (or was it actually jungle music? haha), and a painting by the awesome illustrator Muhammad Taufiq.
