utrecht

17.10.2009

It was strange how Utrecht always looked so unfamiliar to me. Maybe because its huge train station had too many exits, and thus I always ended at different sides of it. Or maybe because the city was a strange combination of old and modern; at some point you felt it was really Utrecht and other you felt it was no longer Netherlands.

But anyway, that afternoon Maarten and I decided to have a little city tour in Utrecht, after attending the Ruang Rupa presentation during Impakt Festival. We passed the Stadhuis and (of course) the Dom Tower before finally realising the weather was too cold for more walks in the autumn.
